Professor Sukumar Kamalasadan from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte will be presenting his talk “Can Modern Power Systems Achieve 100% Renewable Energy?”
Professor Kamalasadan is a Professor and Distinguished Scholar in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His lecture will discuss the prevalence of renewable energy resources (RERs), the major challenges associated with RER penetration, and the issue of stability in RER-saturated grids.
